The Atlantic wrestling team traveled to Humboldt for the Joe Fitch Invitational on Friday, Dec. 5 for an individual tournament.

Heading into the tournament, the Trojans had just come off a couple of dual wins the night before. The wrestlers brought home a team championship as well as four individual champions, two seconds, three thirds, and five fifth place winners.

One of the individual champions, senior Reid Nichols, finished with his fourth championship at this tournament. Nichols is only the second wrestler to win the Joe Fitch Invitational all four years of high school.

Coach Tim Duff said that he was happy with how the team competed for bonus points.
