Next month, there is an opportunity for students to attend a math competition at Iowa City High School in Iowa City. This competition is Saturday, Dec. 6.

According to math team advisor Kathy Blazek, all school-related activities and events have to get approved by the high school principal Heather McKay or by the school activities director Matt Alexander. Blazek said, “Math teacher Morgan Staashelm will help and attend some of the events this year.” The entire math department helps students get involved in the competitions.
