On Thursday, Nov. 6, Atlantic High School will be hosting Heavy Equipment Day. Heavy Equipment Day will take place in the back parking lot of the high school, so parking will not be available in the back.

According to industrial technology teacher Derek Bair, three companies will participate: Ziegler CAT, Duke Ariel, and Lindeman Tractor. The equipment will include an excavator, skid loader, telehandler, aerial lifts, and agriculture equipment.

Ag and industrial students will be participating, and the day will start at 8 a.m. and end at 3:20 p.m. Atlantic High School schedules this day for students who are interested in technical education. Heavy Equipment Day does not cost AHS anything, time and services are donated by the companies.
