Last night, the AHS volleyball team traveled to Glenwood to take on the Rams.

After three tough sets, the Trojans couldn’t pick up a win, but played hard. The team was scrappy and quick to get to the ball. The Rams managed to get several serves in a row which put the Trojans down at different times. The team fought back, but it wasn’t enough to pull ahead. The final score of each set was 15-25, 17-25, and 18-25.  Senior Macey Schmitt said, “We played hard, and we will continue to get better as the season moves along.”

The next volleyball game will be on Tues., Sept. 9 here at AHS against Creston, beginning at 5 p.m. with the freshman team.
