On Thursday, Oct. 24, 13 journalism students and editors will be traveling to Iowa City for a journalism conference. The students are leaving at 5:15 a.m. for the University of Iowa.
Alexi Allen, Josephine Anzalone, Taylor Berns, Stephanie Freund, Katelyn Fulk, Lauren Krogman, Emily Mitchell, Karly Monson, Dustin Rudolph, Evan Smith, Sierra Smith and Cooper Zablocki are the students attending the conference.
There are four sessions throughout the day for the students to attend. Senior Sierra Smith and advisor Allison Berryhill will sit on a panel for one of the sessions and talk to journalists about addressing controversial topics. After the last session at 2:30 the students will head home.

I really want to know how the 2012 – 2013 yearbook scores and ranks at the conference… since it felt like I spent forever on that book. Oh wait, I kinda did. 🙂
